00:00Folks, welcome to Greyhawk Golf Club's rafter course.
00:03Obviously, I've filmed a bunch of stuff here,
00:05but this little three-hole stretch
00:06is a little bit different.
00:07I'm gonna play this little stretch
00:09that I like to call the gettable stretch.
00:11Six, seven, and eight.
00:13They're fun, they're playable.
00:15It's a very difficult golf course from the tips,
00:17which is where we're playing.
00:18So if you play these holes,
00:19you're gonna have to try to score decently.
00:21So here we go.
00:22The sixth hole is a 350-yard par four,
00:24straight back into the sun this time of day.
00:26It's absolutely gorgeous.
00:28Full disclosure, I couldn't see anything here,
00:30so I just twirled it and acted like I loved it.
00:32Straight into the sun, couldn't tell.
00:34Turns out, we got up there, and it's in the right rough.
00:36Now, the rough here, as you can see,
00:37the grass is a little bit dormant,
00:39so it's almost like a dry but bushy kind of feel to it.
00:43So you don't know exactly how it's gonna come out.
00:46We got about 98 yards, I think we had,
00:48to the flag at a 54-degree wedge.
00:50The pin is sort of middle-right over this bunker,
00:53and anything that lands on the back tier
00:55runs off the green to the back,
00:56especially out of this rough.
00:58So I was kind of aiming at it
00:59and figured if I draw it or pull it, it should be fine.
01:01That was exactly what I did.
01:02You can see it kind of starts a little left,
01:04but it was hit pretty well,
01:05holds its line, and catches the front left of the green.
01:08We're faced here with what I would say
01:09is maybe a 30-foot putter, so it goes up this slope
01:13and then should kind of hold its line.
01:15So we got a lag putt, we're gonna see how we do here.
01:21Oh!
01:23Hopefully Alex the Bushman zoomed in on that
01:25because that looked like it was gonna curl in.
01:28It broke left to right,
01:29and I thought it would break a little bit back to the left.
01:31As you can see, we're flabbergasted.
01:32Something you're gonna be flabbergasted by,
01:34but in a phenomenal way, is EZ-GO.
01:37I've got an EZ-GO golf cart in Pinehurst.
01:39I've had it for maybe two or three years now.
01:41It's got cool rims on it.
01:42It's a four-seater.
01:43Every time I'm in town, I load everybody up.
01:45I pull this thing out of the garage,
01:46and when I get there, pretty much the entire trip,
01:48I never charge it again.
01:49The battery life is phenomenal.
01:51Put all kinds of stuff from different dealers,
01:53different golf clubs that use
01:54other manufacturers of golf carts.
01:56They have issues that they just hate dealing with.
01:58I've never had a single problem,
01:59and if I did, the warranty is great.
02:02They hit me up, or I hit them up,
02:03and they're like, everything okay?
02:04Yep, everything's phenomenal.
02:05So, life's just better in a golf cart.
02:07I've said that a bunch, and it's way better in EZ-GO.
02:09Well, look at this EZ-GO that they've got at Greyhawk.
02:11All their golf carts are EZ-GOs.
02:12This thing glistening with the Greyhawk logo.
02:15EZ-GO, mountains, blue, beautiful.
02:18Here we go, we're on to the seventh hole.
02:19This is a 500-yard par five.
02:22A little bit of trouble up the left side.
02:24This thing is called Caddy Wampus.
02:26Wampus, I'll have to get the story on that.
02:28But, here we go, we're trying to hit
02:29a nice, smooth drive up the right.
02:31As you can see, there's like that little thimble
02:33of fairway up the right that you're trying to hit it up.
02:35I started it there, was setting up to hit a little draw,
02:37and I hit kind of a little toe hooky.
02:39Luckily, it landed on the left side of the fairway,
02:41dribbled into the left rough.
02:42Should've held up, and once we got up there
02:43in our EZ-GO, yep, it did, it caught the left side.
02:45So, we're just gonna lay up.
02:47I looked on the golf cart, looked at the pin.
02:49It's front right, there's a little ridge behind it.
02:51So, as long as you get it up there,
02:52you can kind of pitch one into the ridge
02:54and try to get one close.
02:55So, a nice little layup here with a four,
02:57and I had a good view, and this was flush.
02:59Hopefully, you got the sound on that one,
03:00because that was nice.
03:01Now, we got about a 50-yard pitch.
03:03I think it was like 52 yards or something like that.
03:05Zoomed in for you guys.
03:06Again, there's a backstop.
03:07Beautiful look at the mountains.
03:08This is kind of a twilight sunset spin at Greyhawk.
03:10I would say the Raptor course is probably in the running
03:12for the best golf course overall in the state of Arizona.
03:15It's that good.
03:16They've hosted PGA Tour event,
03:17Barstow Classic Championship, NCAA Championships.
03:20Here we go.
03:21We're gonna try to spin one in there,
03:21land it behind on the ridge, spin it back, and we did.
03:24Just an excellent shot there.
03:26That one felt good.
03:26Let me go get that sand.
03:28Let me go get that sand.
03:29Maintain the golf course.
03:31Turf Crew, thank you guys.
03:32Looking to be jogging, running, keeping that pace of play.
03:34All right, here we go.
03:35We're up here.
03:36We got a pretty good look for Birdie
03:37as we get to 100 through two
03:38with one of my favorite holes in Arizona coming up next.
03:41Oh!
03:42Really didn't think that was gonna break too much.
03:43I thought at maybe the very end,
03:44it would just peel a little bit right,
03:45but broke more than I thought.
03:47That's a tap in par.
03:48We are even through two.
03:50We're gonna take a look at the eighth hole
03:52at Greyhawks Raptor.
03:53It's my favorite hole on the course.
03:55This is the hardest pin on this hole.
03:57Sort of up on this little knob on the right side
03:59as a man that typically draws his irons.
04:01Not my favorite pin to get at,
04:03but again, you see the mountains in the background.
04:05The way that this hole is bunkered,
04:07everything that glands left and over those bunkers
04:09kicks right onto the green.
04:11Right pin, we got a six iron.
04:12It's 187 yards, and I hit a pretty good one.
04:16I started a little bit left with a little bit of a draw,
04:19so it's gonna land on kind of the left side of the green,
04:22and everything does kick towards the middle of the green,
04:23like I said, so got up there,
04:25and yep, balls in a pretty good spot.
04:27I mean, for me with a six iron with that right pin,
04:29it's hard for me to get much closer than that.
04:31I would almost have to start it over the bunker
04:32and draw it at that pin, which is pretty crazy,
04:34so we got yet another probably 25 footer for birdie
04:37to get to 100 through three.
04:39Never got it started on line,
04:40just kind of pushed it out to the right,
04:41but excellent pace.
04:43Playing the tips at Greyhawks Raptor course,
04:45and we got through those three holes at even par.
04:47I did mention they're the gettable holes, sure,
04:48but with a player at my skill level,
04:50nothing's really gettable.
04:51It could be chaos all over the place,
04:52desert, problems, bushes, just golf in general,
04:55so got through it.
04:56It was great.
04:57Well, you know what else is great is EasyGo.
04:58They're the best in the business.
04:59They're reliable.
05:00They've been doing it for a long time,
05:01and they make awesome golf carts
05:02so you can customize life's better in an EasyGo,
05:04even par through three.
05:05Boar!
