00:00We take the point. Again, like the last eight, nine years, incredibly proud of the players,
00:09how they fought, came back twice, and difficult conditions for us. Aljos Park is difficult
00:16for the weather conditions for both sides, not just for us, but we fought as always and
00:24we take the point.
00:26Michael, do you think maybe today at the end of the show, just where the team were up,
00:31did you look at the level of the tyre?
00:33A little bit of what?
00:34Tyre?
00:35No.
00:38And what did you make of the red card?
00:40I didn't see it.
00:46You were on the pitch at full time, that's why I think we assumed you were unhappy about
00:50the yellow card.
00:51Sometimes I go on the pitch, sometimes I go direct to the locker room.
00:58The team wasn't tired, but they didn't win the game.
01:01We played the last 10 minutes, 15 minutes with 10 against 11. We had seven potential start
01:0811 injured and a lot of players with minutes and the physicality for Christophe Pals is
01:14there, but we were there and we did everything to try to win and I'm really proud and pleased
01:24for the players.
01:29You had long periods where you were looking in control of the game, were playing with
01:34your customary toys and yet you seem to be paying for any mistakes you make defensively.
01:41Is that what's happening? Is that a consequence of the stretch of your squad at the moment?
01:47No, it's happened. Football is a game of mistakes and for the good things we make fantastic
01:54two goals and of course in the set-pieces right now they are stronger than us, every
02:00single team, so we try to concede few, that is what we are doing.
02:06But in general, the game was there and coming back in this stadium is not easy and we tried
02:15and I'm really pleased for many things I saw.
02:22Before the game you were quite complimentary about Palace and the way they came to see
02:26them. How impressed were you with what the fans decided?
02:28It was really good. The way they finished last season was incredibly impressed. They
02:33started with problems, not just with the results, not for the way they played. I'm
02:40so pleased for Glasner, he's doing an incredible job. He's a top professional, I think a lovely
02:48person. Of course, long balls with Matita, with Sar, in the position from Rico, of course
02:56they can beat us. The effort from Gundogan and Bernardo were unbelievable, so I think
03:05both wingers were really, really good. We need fresh legs for that position because
03:11Jeremy came from a long injury in a difficult position and played almost 90 minutes and
03:16I know it's not a guy who can play regularly a lot. It's difficult and Jack yesterday
03:21faced some niggles, he didn't feel discomfort and he came also for long injuries. I would
03:28have put it before, but I just had the feeling that the players were in the field with 2-2
03:33especially, or even before the 2-2 were there. Unfortunately, we could not finish with 11.
03:42Pep, a goal from Erling Haaland today, do you think it's going to help his confidence
03:47a little bit?
03:48We are lucky that we have him. We are so lucky that we have him this season, that we are
03:54lucky we have Rico, that we are lucky that we have Bernardo Gundo, all these players
04:00that we just got, that all these players have been all the season playing, playing without
04:06rest. We are so lucky these four, five, six players are there with us and of course Erling
04:11with a sense of goal and a threat is always there. We are lucky to have him.
04:16Are you pleased to see Weisman kill off Kevin De Bruyne? I know you expected to see much
04:20more of a threat.
04:23The threat has to be always the way we played, but of course the connection, the talent,
04:27the final third for Kevin is so special. Of course we missed him a lot last season, this
04:33season as well. We have played 75 minutes, today the same, so it's really good and hopefully
04:39we can continue that way.
04:43There's been of course a lot of talk about injuries so far this season, but the players
04:47that are sick that have to play, and play a lot too, and I have to imagine a lot from
04:51them as well. Is there a feeling like when are we going to get a real break to recover
04:56and...
04:57What? When?
04:58Yeah, exactly.
04:59Exactly.
05:02No, listen, the season started difficult, will be difficult all season. So we have to
05:06survive, it's a season to survive, a season to every game, try to take points, to win
05:11games and go forward. So we know it, we feel it and unfortunately we missed an important
05:18player for us this season for the next game against United at home. But in general, what
05:26they have done in this circumstance is really, really, really good. We knew it from the beginning
05:33that everything was wrong and unlucky, unlucky in many things and we have to continue with
05:38that with the players that we have at our disposal. Go to the Champions League now in
05:42Turin and try to perform well and take our results.
