Dubai claims another world record

00:00Dubai has notched a new entry into the Guinness Book of World Records on this 9th edition

00:09of the Public Transport Day. The award was given to the RTA for having the longest human

00:14chain of people from 96 nationalities ride the Metro at the same time. Stretching the

00:19entire length of the train, the participants lined up hand in hand as a public demonstration

00:24of all the different nationalities that the Metro serves on a daily basis. The Public

00:28Transport Day is meant to encourage residents to use public transit by familiarizing them

00:32with the benefits of the impressive transport system that has been built over the years

00:36here in Dubai.

00:37The event, which coincides with the 13th anniversary of the RTA, aims to support Dubai's efforts
