00:00The office of Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez was shocked by the malicious rumors spreading on the internet
00:06that he is a stroke patient and is confined in the hospital.
00:09According to the head executive assistant of the Speaker, Lemuel Romero,
00:13there is no truth to the allegations that are spreading.

00:17To mislead the public and spread confusion about what is really happening?
00:23Romero insisted that Speaker Romualdez is in a good condition
00:26and that he will continue his duties,
00:29just like what Romualdez did in some official engagements last Friday,
00:34where the Speaker was present while President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:39passed two new laws, the Ligtas Pinoy Centers Act
00:42and the Student Loan Payment Moratorium During Disasters and Emergencies Act or RA 12077.
00:50The two new laws will be passed to help our countrymen
00:54whenever calamities strike the country.
00:57Meanwhile, the office of the Speaker urged the public
01:01to get information from verified and official sources
01:05as well as leaders and institutions of our country
01:08to avoid any disinformation and misinformation.
