00:00You're not allowed to give me advice after Liger.
00:02It's terrifying to hear something about your child.
00:05Yeah, you are at fault and we're not doing a film together again.
00:08All news is good news.
00:10I know.
00:11No news is bad news.
00:13I've seen your journey and of course,
00:14you've had a complicated relationship with the public perception.
00:19Trollers.
00:21From the backlash on the actor's roundtable to the big successes like
00:24Kho Gaye Hum Ka and Call Me Bae.
00:26The world knows the public version of this journey.
00:30As a family, we've seen a version of it.
00:33But what is your version?
00:35What version have you all seen?
00:36First you say that.
00:37It's terrifying to hear something about your child.
00:41But I think it was something you were prepared for
00:44because you knew you were coming into the public space.
00:47But I was always worried because you were too young
00:50to take this kind of stuff that was coming towards you.
00:53But the rest you tell me.
00:55Honestly, at the start, I would get very affected with things.
00:58If I read the smallest of things, I would cry and break down.
01:02And you know, whatever.
01:04Yeah, I don't know.
01:04You were never...
01:05You honestly were not seeing anything.
01:06Mom was there.
01:08You were at home, but you were in your own world,
01:09in the bathroom and all that.
01:11But whatever.
01:12So I was like, not okay.
01:13And I used to feel really sad.
01:15But then I think I've gotten much stronger over time.
01:18And I think also living alone has made a big difference
01:21because I feel like when I used to stay with y'all,
01:23I feel like when I used to get sad,
01:26y'all used to like feed into my sadness.
01:28Like, you know, then mom would be like,
01:29what happened? Are you fine?
01:31So like, I would get more sad, you know,
01:32like just like make me more overwhelmed.
01:36I was like acting also a little bit while like crying at home.
01:39But now that I'm living alone,
01:40I've actually really learned how to like control my feelings.
01:45Like nothing affects me so much.
01:46Like I'm able to like be with my thoughts and be like,
01:50you know that I really couldn't be alone.
01:51Like I couldn't sleep alone.
01:53I always needed people around me all the time.
01:55And I'm quite like happy being alone.
01:57But I'll tell you what, for me, if you ask me,
02:00I've always had that policy that all news is good news.
02:06I know.
02:06No news is bad news.
02:08But yes, of course, the amount of trolling which you got.
02:12But how do you, now though you must be used to it.
02:15Yeah, like now I don't really like read anything.
02:18I'm quite like over it to be honest,
02:20because I also feel like I've learned how to like,
02:23like see what really matters and what doesn't matter.
02:25Like now I think for me, the most important thing is that
02:28people are talking about my work and my performances.
02:30So it overshadows everything that they might be saying
02:33about other stuff happening.
02:34And over time, I did like I started so positive also,
02:37which kind of started the conversation
02:39about online bullying and positivity.
02:41And I feel like while helping others deal with their issues,
02:44I kind of dealt with my issues on my own.
02:47And I felt like talking about it to people,
02:49talking to Raisa, talking to my mom,
02:51or talking to my friends really helped ease the load.
02:54But what helped me more than anything,
02:56I would say was working.
02:58Like, you always say like, after a film doesn't do well,
03:01what do you do the next day?
03:02Get back on set and just like,
03:03like I remember after Liger, I was so sad.
03:05And I was so upset.
03:07But I started-
03:07And you were cursing me for making a different film.
03:09Yeah, whatever.
03:11Yeah, you are at fault.
03:12And we're not doing a film together again.
03:14You know, I wanted to read my scripts and choose them.
03:16Sometimes you have to just do a film.
03:18No.
03:18You're not allowed to give me advice after Liger.
03:21You're not allowed to give me advice after Liger.
