00:13for this game show. Blockbusters is back bamboozling contestants throughout Ramadan. You might

00:19have heard of it before. It used to run on UK TV many years ago. But Gulf News has made

00:25it its own, and after a 14-year hiatus, it's still managing to attract a loyal following.

00:31The aim of the game is to get from one side of the honeycomb ball to the other. Some of

00:35the questions are no pushover, though, as the first batch of contestants found out.

00:40The audience also gets a chance to take part, with the quiz master handing out prizes if

01:04they get a question right. But the first two contestants who won the qualifying were just

01:08happy to go through to the next round.

01:38The blockbusting top brass will be crowned in mid-October after a long marathon session

01:58of qualifying. And along the way, the organisers are encouraging people to sign up and take

02:02part. So if you think you're a quick buzzer and don't mind being under the spotlight,

02:17you may well fancy your chances at Blockbusters. Just be sure to brush up on your general knowledge
