00:11I was so excited right away,

00:13on the get-go,

00:15because it's very fitting in this day and age

00:19that a lot is happening.

00:21Sociopolitical issues,

00:23social issues,

00:24there's poverty,

00:25and if people follow me on SofMed,

00:28they know that I'm open to all kinds of things.

00:30I have a lot of opinions,

00:32especially for mothers like me

00:34who are affected by life as a mother,

00:36life as a family.

00:37I want this show to showcase

00:40not only our talent in making people laugh,

00:42but we also have something between our ears, right?

00:45We also have an opinion on what's happening.

00:48But we are going to package it in an entertaining way

00:51so that the viewers of YouLol

00:54can be very engaged.

00:55And hopefully,

00:57aside from making you laugh,

00:58you'll also learn something from watching.

01:00I actually posted this like some months back,

01:03that every artist should have that element of risk.

01:08We should be at the forefront.

01:11So, we should use our platform

01:15in ways that we can influence people positively.

01:18I think I was given this talent

01:20so that I can use it in a way

01:22that I haven't used before.

01:25So, if I shy away from the challenge

01:28or if I'm afraid because of that notion

01:30that I might get cancelled

01:32or that other people might say something,

01:34it means that I didn't use my talent properly

01:36or that I didn't think about what I was going to say.

01:39And I'm not that kind of person.

01:40I'm always careful with my decisions,

01:43even the words I use.

01:44Sometimes, there are people who make us feel helpless

01:47and say that we're risqué.

01:49But I think if there are no commentators

01:52who push boundaries all the time,

01:54the industry will stagnate.

01:56So, I think if there are kids

01:59who are emerging entertainers,

02:00not just comedians,

02:01even singers during their spiels,

02:03they can actually use that as an opportunity

02:07to influence the audience.

02:10I think we should always push.

02:12We should always challenge the edges

02:15of what's right, what's wrong.

02:16Because an artist should be at the pinnacle of questioning

02:21what is right and wrong.

02:23Because in truth, it's subjective.

02:25And we're the ones who form it,

02:27the ones in the arcs.

02:29We're the ones who create the reality

02:31that people see.

02:33So, it's a heavy responsibility,

02:35but it shouldn't deter us

02:37from creating great material, great concepts.

02:40Because that's the number one killer of creativity.

02:43Fear.
