00:00Cassandra Lee Ong's camp considers appealing to court if she remains detained during Christmas.
00:05This comes after the House of Representatives' Quad Committee extended the contempt order against
00:11Ong for another two months. According to Ong's lawyer, attorney Ferdinand Topacio, they are
00:16hopeful that the contempt order will not be extended further and that she will be released
00:21from the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City. It can be recalled that the
00:26contempt order against Ong was extended due to her failure to submit certain documents requested
00:32by the committee as part of their investigation into the illegal pogo operations in Porac, Bampanga.
