00:00More than Php 400,000 worth of drugs were confiscated in the Vybus Operation in Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

00:11The two arrested suspects were denied the drugs.

00:15Here's the first news, James Agustin.

00:20Two men who were selling drugs in the drug Vybus Operation of the police in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City are missing.

00:28The suspects were still on the run in Quezon City from Marikina.

00:32Our community tried this here in Barangay Batasan.

00:35Then eventually, we validated if it's true, a series of surveillance, and we sighted them, sir, who were transacting.

00:44The suspects were able to get 60 grams of Omonexabu, which is worth Php 408,000.

00:51The police also identified the source of the drugs.

00:53In our surveillance of them, mostly it's street-level individuals involved in illegal drugs,

01:01mostly in Marikina and Quezon City area, specifically here in Barangay Batasan Hills.

01:07Mostly, their mode of transaction is meet-up and referral.

01:13So you can't penetrate their group if they don't refer you to another drug dealer.

01:21The 42-year-old man who was imprisoned by the police was previously jailed for drug-related cases.

01:26His 31-year-old friend is a newly identified drug personality of the police.

01:31The two men who were selling drugs in the drug Vybus Operation of the police in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City, denied it.

01:33The drugs were not ours, right?

01:36But were you the ones who were selling drugs?

01:39No, sir.

01:39I went there. They were already there. I didn't get anything.

01:45Did you get anything from the drugs?

01:46No. They didn't get anything from me, sir.

01:49The two men are facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
