00:00I think most of the wide receivers on this team wish that they were in a better offense.
00:03I think that's probably part of it, you know, I think that's not the whole thing, but that's
00:07part of it.
00:08Well, guess what?
00:09This offense wishes they had better wide receivers.
00:10Exactly.
00:11Mutual relationship.
00:12A hundred percent.
00:13You know, you're as good as you're as good as what you are, you know, like that, that,
00:16that's really what happened to opportunity.
00:18This guy in particular, KJ Osborne, I was sold that this is a guy that's better than
00:22his opportunities.
00:24He was buried in Minnesota behind Justin Jefferson and Addison and those guys.
00:28What happened to that idea?
00:30We realized he wasn't buried, right?
00:32He was who he is.
00:33Yep.
00:34He is who he was.
00:35He's just a complimentary journeyman veteran receiver.
00:37And maybe as a complimentary piece, that's where he would excel in the NFL.
00:41Not here.
00:42Not here where you had a bunch of fives all sort of competing to see if any one of them
00:45could be a number one.
00:47That's really what you have.
00:48That's what you've had this entire season, including the rookies, including everybody
00:50else.
00:51Kendrick Bourne, Keyshawn Booty, I mean, these are guys who are your leading receivers this
00:55year and are not taught.
00:59You know, I don't even know if I'd have them in a top three on most teams.
01:02Most teams have two good wide receivers.
01:04Yes.
01:05You don't have any.
01:06And I think that in general, I mean, we've gone over this enough times, but it's not
01:09even like you have a collection of number twos and none of them have what it takes to
01:13be a number one.
01:14You have a collection of fives and I don't know if any of them have what it takes to
01:16be a number three.
01:17Right.
01:18You have a legitimate collection of receivers that might not be a starter on any teams,
01:23including your own.
01:24If you didn't have to start.
01:25Right.
01:26The the bloom is off Pop Douglas a little bit.
01:27He was the the best option.
01:30And Kendrick Bourne, I think, needs to prove he can get the bloom back to where he was
01:34when he first arrived here.
01:35And people thought he was Debo Light and Debo Cheap and Debo whatever East Coast Debo and
01:39all those things.
01:40The closest thing you had to a playmaker, remember when people were saying that?
01:43And I was one of those people.
01:44I'm not just pointing fingers at some have said I thought he was the closest.
01:48Many people are saying he is the closest to a playmaker that you had.
01:51I thought that.
01:52And he's had the injury and coming back and all.
01:54Maybe next year you'll find out he still has some playmaking ability.
01:58But yeah, Mike Giardi has been right for multiple years here about the whole sort of stink,
02:02stank, stunk nature of the wide receiver position.
02:05Pop Douglas is on pace for 650 yards receiving this year.
02:09That will be number one for Patriots wide receivers.
