प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने स्मार्ट इंडिया हैकथॉन-2024 के ग्रैंड फिनाले में वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से प्रतिभागियों के साथ संवाद किया। एनआईटी श्रीनगर की एक छात्रा ने बताया कि उनकी टीम ऑटिज्म स्पेक्ट्रम डिसऑर्डर से पीड़ित बच्चों के लिए एक वर्चुअल रियलिटी फ्रेंड विकसित करने पर काम कर रही है, जो उनकी बातचीत के कौशल को बढ़ाने में मदद करेगा। देश में ऑटिज्म स्पेक्ट्रम डिसऑर्डर से 18 मिलियन से ज्यादा बच्चे पीड़ित हैं। 100 में से एक बच्चा बौद्धिक चुनौतियों का सामना करता है। इन सब समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए वो एक टूल बना रहे हैं जो इन बच्चों के लिए दोस्त की तरह काम करेगा। पीएम मोदी ने कहा, "आपको बधाई कि आपने इस विचार को समझा कि हर बच्चा स्पेशल होता है। सभी को फलने-फूलने का अवसर मिले। समाज में कोई भी पीछे न रहे। कोई खुद को पिछड़ा महसूस न करे। इसके लिए नए समाधान की जरूरत पड़ती रहती है। आपकी टीम का यह समाधान लाखों बच्चों की जिंदगी आसान बनाएगा...।"

00:54It is an AI powered virtual reality solution.

01:03They face challenges when it comes to learning a language.

01:07communication, social interaction.
01:09To har task ke liye it will be broken down

01:21Wo is dost ki madad se seek paenge ki
01:24social interactions mein kya sahi hai,
01:26kya galat hai,
01:27aur kaise logon ko approach kar sakte hain?
01:30To ye yaha pe ek safe environment mein seek ke
01:33aage jaa ke wo apne real environment mein apply kar sakte hain.
01:36Jahan pe they can help make their lives better
01:39by being able to do normal things in the real world.
01:44To children with special needs have special requirements
01:47when it comes to learning.
01:48So we'll be providing them this ta ki
01:51there's no differentiation between normal people
01:54and their normal lives.
01:55And children with special needs carrying on
01:59normal activities in their daily work.

02:09And in fact, meri team kaafi diverse hai.
02:11So we have members with different technical backgrounds
02:15and geographical backgrounds.
02:16So we have a member who is a non-Indian.

02:42we also spoke at different centers
02:44to understand ki in bachon ko kya actual mein dikkat hoti hain

03:01in Computer Science and Engineering.
03:03And I am part of Big Brains team
03:06where we are developing an AI powered
03:09virtual reality experience
03:11that is specially designed for these kids,
03:17these special kids.
03:18Is this your first experience
03:20to be a part of this type of team?
03:23I've been part of different hackathons locally in Bangalore,
03:27but this is my first time here in SIH.
03:31And I'm very grateful for being part of this huge initiative
03:35and I wanna thank you, Mr. Prime Minister
03:38and the government of India for giving me this opportunity.
03:43And from this place, I invite all my fellow Yemeni students
03:48and international students to be innovators outside,
03:52to be part of India's innovative ecosystem.
