00:00Some interesting words yesterday from Brandon Graham, veteran edge rusher for the Philadelphia
00:08Eagles on his weekly radio show that he does for WIP there in the city of brotherly love.
00:14He was talking about this birds team that has won nine straight games, is 11 and two
00:19in pole position in the NFC East, challenging the Lions for the best record and the best
00:24team in the NFC and that number one overall seed in the playoff picture.
00:30And yet Scott, after a narrow escape from Carolina on a Sunday in Philadelphia, it wasn't
00:37the most prolific passing day for the Eagles.
00:41Some more drama follows this team.
00:43A.J.
00:44Brown was critical of the passing attack of Philly on Sunday.
00:48Jalen hurts only through for 108 yards.
00:51In fact, in the last three wins for the Eagles, Hertz is thrown for fewer than 180 yards in
00:57all three wins, and yet they are still winning.
01:02So Brandon Graham was asked about that was detailing the relationship between Hertz and
01:07Brown and basically called A.J.
01:09Brown out saying, if you are going to be critical, you need to make sure you are doing so in
01:14the right way.
01:15And kind of hinted, Scott, at the idea there is a strife in the relationship between quarterback
01:22Jalen Hertz and his number one receiver, A.J.
01:26Brown.
01:27He walked back some of those comments later.
01:29Nick Sirianni has had to speak about what Brandon Graham said yesterday.
01:33Scott, for the life of me, though, a team that's 11 and two winning nine straight games,
01:38you would think this team wouldn't have any drama within the locker room.
01:42And yet the Eagles seem to certainly have some.
01:45Yeah, two things, right?
01:48It's a continued knock with Nick Sirianni, right?
01:50Only Nick Sirianni can have an 11 and two football team and have trouble on the sidelines.
01:55I mean, it's just it's crazy, right?
01:57I just you know, you would think everyone would be so happy.
02:00You know, the numbers are there, you know, with A.J.
02:02Brown, they're undefeated playing this year without them.
02:05They're one and two.
02:06The average good 10 points more a game when he's playing with in those three games that
02:09he didn't play.
02:10So it is there, but, you know, they're winning.
02:13So you should be happy.
02:14I heard his comments.
02:16I get it.
02:17It's just I don't know what it is over the last several years.
02:20It's been a few years here, but the wide receiver position is the prima donna position in the
02:25NFL.
02:26Clearly, it just is.
02:28And you know, I know it's a run versus a pass, but I've always said, Ben, you know, when
02:34they do this push, push and you got Jalen Hurst getting all these touchdowns.
02:39I said, I know this sounds goofy, but it just it's got to be a little unsettling.
02:44People are you know, they're envious.
02:45They want to score.
02:46Right.
02:47A.J. Brown wants to score.
02:48The running backs want to score.
02:49And I just can't help but think eventually that's going to start ticking some of these
02:52guys off a little bit.
02:54And maybe it is with A.J.
02:55Maybe they say, listen, you can throw the ball to one yard line.
02:58I can get, you know, five more touchdowns, you know, and add to my resume here and next
03:02contract or whatever the case may be.
03:04But it's just, you know, it's to me, ultimately, it's a knock on Siri on it because he should
03:09be reading this guy, the right act, just to shut them up and they should be feeding
03:13the ball.
03:14You know, it goes back to the old Keyshawn Johnson days when I used to cover the Jets
03:17with my boy Wayne for a bet, you know, throw me the damn ball.
03:20It's true.
03:21Get him the ball.
03:22Throw the ball a little bit more.
03:24But I did hear the comments and I saw the comments from from Graham.
03:29As you said, he walked them back a little bit.
03:30I didn't think they were over the top.
03:32Crazy.
03:33It was just, you know, kind of maybe revealing a little bit too much inside that locker room.
