00:00Recently, sizable drones were spotted flying over New Jersey.
00:03However, they weren't ordinary flyers.
00:05These drones were avoiding detection via traditional drone finders,
00:09i.e. helicopters and radio methods.
00:11Now the Pentagon's Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh
00:14is providing some insight into the sightings.
00:17At this time, we have no evidence that these activities are coming from
00:20a foreign entity or the work of an adversary.
00:23We're going to continue to monitor what is happening,
00:26but, you know, at no point were our installations threatened
00:30when this activity was occurring.
00:32She outlined that these were not U.S. military drones
00:35and are still unidentified, a concerning notion for those living below,
00:39as the objects are much larger than traditional hobby drones.
00:42New Jersey Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia wrote on X
00:44that they were upwards of six feet in diameter
00:47and they have been spotted dozens of times now, often with no lights.
00:50And they were spotted flying near Picatinny Arsenal,
00:52which is a U.S. military research facility.
00:55They were also seen flying over Donald Trump's Bedminster golf course.
00:59When asked if they would be shot down,
01:00Singh responded that is a local law enforcement decision.
