00:00All right, we're going to be taking a look at some very high-impact college football games.
00:06The new format here for the postseason is something that is gripping the nation's attention,
00:11so we're looking a little farther down the line than we typically would with a football forecast.
00:16This is not this weekend, but next weekend.
00:19Yes, there are some games this weekend, the Army-Navy game and so forth,
00:22but we're going to look farther down to the official beginning of the playoffs here.
00:25Friday, next week, we're looking at South Bend, Indiana at Notre Dame,
00:31and it's going to be pretty cold out here, 30 degrees for kickoff.
00:34It's going to be cold and brisk, and there is the likelihood of some flurries around.
00:39There may even be a period of snow showers that could be at least some impact into the game.
00:45We need to keep an eye on temperatures here into University Park, State College PA.
00:51SMU, a warm climate team coming up into Happy Valley here, kickoff temperature around 33.
00:59We're trending a little colder, and there's the potential that this could come even a little colder than that.
01:05We've got to keep an eye on temperatures, and there will be some snow showers possible here
01:09into areas around Happy Valley, brisk and chilly.

01:14In this case, there is the chance for some snow showers.
01:17We need to watch the timing of the system coming in into next weekend,
01:22as that could conceivably increase the likelihood of some snow.
01:26And if it comes in faster, we would also have to drive temperatures down
01:29because of an early arrival of that colder air.
01:32Again, some snow showers for each of those games.
01:35Now, we're not going to see any snow showers during a Saturday afternoon game down in Austin.
01:39This is a game where the weather is unlikely to impact things on the gridiron.
