00:00The city of Siargao and Bucas Grande Islands is now under state of calamity
00:04because of the resolution issued by the province of Surigao del Norte.
00:09This is the result of a power outage in the so-called towns that started on December 1,
00:14which resulted in the destruction of the submarine cable that supplies electricity to the mainland of Mindanao.
00:21The declaration is to expedite the issuance of an emergency fund
