00:17Many of the activities conducted with MAECI and the ICEA agency to promote and increase
00:22the internationalization of our companies, many of the activities and the support we receive
00:28from MAECI with reference to all those that are the activities linked to the main
00:33ferristic manifestation of our sector, which is the International Nautical Salon of Genoa.
00:38From the analysis of the 45th edition of Nautica in numbers, the statistical annual
00:43carried out by the study office of CONFINDUSTRIA NAUTICA in partnership with the Edison Foundation,
00:49which benefits from the sponsorship of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport,
00:53it emerges how the sector of Nautica from Porto has reached the historical maximum
00:58of 8.33 billion euros compared to 2023, exactly one billion more than the previous year.
01:06The situation that emerges is certainly that of a normalization of sector growth rates
01:12for the sector of large yachts, super yachts, which see a positive or stable closure in 2024.
01:20In 2025 it will see a reduction of the orders in progress, but still a substantially good situation.
01:27Instead, the situation for small units is different, so let's say those up to 24 meters,
01:34about two-thirds of the total of the company has suffered this last season,
01:39but the estimates for 2025 see a possible improvement of market conditions
01:47starting from the next spring.
01:49In the session of November 25, 2024, the Council of Ministers licensed the text of a draft law
01:55that introduces the principles of coordination in the definition of the policies for the promotion of the sea economy,
02:01a provision that is included in the framework of the strategic lines defined by the Sea Plan 2023-2025.
02:09We are also putting in place regulations to adapt our legislative system,
02:14to allow companies to grow and to ensure that Italy is not only a beautiful peninsula in the Mediterranean,
02:20but also a world-leading point of excellence on the subject of nautics.
02:24During the public assembly, which followed the private one reserved for the members,
02:28the round table from the title Nautica, the route traced by the reforms in the international context,
02:34the comparison with the government, the policies for the bioeconomy, the new standards for the sector.
02:39This year we have obtained excellent results in terms of files that have been standing for years.
02:48One of all, the new regulation of the Code of Nautica, which greatly simplifies the bureaucracy
02:54and therefore will make us even more competitive in terms of international markets.
