00:06Electric Cup 2024 against Myanmar last night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. Here is the report from Jamaica, Bayaka

00:17The match between the Philippine men's national football team and Myanmar ended in one-all draw yesterday

00:24kicking off their campaign in the Asian Mitsubishi Electric Cup

00:282024. The Philippines showed early aggression in the first half, nearly scoring several goals

00:34It was Myanmar who scored the first goal with a free-kick from midfielder

00:38Mongbong Luwin in the 25th minute. Entering the second half, Myanmar found the net again in the 63rd minute

00:45But the point was waived by the video assistant referee. The Rizal Memorial Stadium came alive

00:51Following a penalty kick by Bjorn Christensen in the 72nd minute to tie the score. An additional 10 minutes was added

00:58But the score remained even until the final whistle. In the post-game press conference, head coach Albert Catalhas

01:05Didn't hide his disappointment with the result of the match. Still we had chances to win the game

01:12But we couldn't score. I think today is a game that we really have to win but

01:17It's how it is. Now, we have to go to Laos and win this game there

01:22That is always the next game. Team captain Christian Rotini expressed optimism
