Shaun Wright-Phillips believes Thomas Tuchel's appointment as England head coach is a 'good one'
Transcript
00:00For me, it's a good one. I think his CV speaks for itself. You saw what he did when he came
00:05in at Chelsea. For me, in many ways, he shouldn't have got sacked or left the club in that short.
00:14I felt like he needed more time. And he's got England, man, with all the options in
00:20his arsenal. I feel in many ways, a lot of people might say, it's harder to do wrong
00:27in that job as a manager. If that makes sense, because we've got so much talent to pick from,
00:34whether it be, especially in those attacking areas. So I think he'll be good. I'm interested
00:40to see his first camp, his team selection, how he plays, whether he's going to play with
00:46wing backs or he's going to play 4-2-3-1, who's going to be his wingers, possibly who's
00:52going to be his number 10, because at the minute, Phil Foden and Cole Palmer are like
00:59that, but people forget Jack Greenish will be a fantastic number 10 as well. So there's
01:04so much for him to pick from in terms of attack and holding midfielders, that in many ways,
01:10the world's his oyster.
