00:33I bring you, Your Excellency, and of course all of our distinguished heads and colleagues
00:42and our brother from Palestine, greetings from the Prime Minister, Dr. Terence Drew of
00:50St. Kitts and Nevis, and before you his regrets and apologies for not being able to be here

01:05We thank you, Your Excellency, for your warmth of welcome today and for the excellent arrangements
01:17that you have provided us as our host.
01:23Your Excellency, as we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of ALBA-TCP in
01:36this 24th Summit of Heads of ALBA-TCP, we have invoked the memories of the two giants,
01:47that is Commander Fidel Castro and Commander Hugo Chavez, who are credited with its founding.
02:00And today we reaffirm our own commitment to the Cuban-Venezuela Joint Declaration and
02:10the agreement for the implementation of ALBA, the same declaration and agreement which we
02:19memorialize and maybe immortalize today.
02:25Your Excellency, St. Christopher and Nevis reaffirms its membership of ALBA-TCP today.
02:35St. Christopher and Nevis yet again declares its own forward march in support of the solidarity
02:46with the consolidation of democracy and freedom of the peoples of the Caribbean and Latin
02:53America, emphasizing, of course, that none in the Americas should be left behind.
03:03And so again, St. Gibson Nevis, as a government and representing its citizens, express solidarity
03:12with the peoples of Haiti, of Cuba, of Venezuela, of Bolivia, Nicaragua, and all member states
03:21of the region who continue to live under constant threats of dominance, and those
03:31who, like Palestine, are dying from continued war.
03:38I use this opportunity to emphasize that the government of St. Gibson Nevis is totally
03:44committed to advance the improvement of the lives of our people at home through inclusive
03:53development, social support programs in education, modern health care services, modern improvement
04:05in affordable housing, renewable energy security, expanded and modernized infrastructure, inclusive
04:15of ICT, and expanded connectivity in order to bridge the digital divide among us.
04:24We shall continue to embrace AI, and thus we will make sure that the Agroalba project,
04:35on which we have already signed earlier today for food security, that this will definitely
04:43assist us in achieving St. Gibson Nevis as a sustainable island state by the year 2030
04:52and maybe just beyond.
04:54Your Excellency, we intend to operate, we intend to cooperate, and work with all of
05:04our colleagues, all within the sphere of ALBA-TCP, in order to achieve these lofty goals.
05:16We are committed to work collectively and individually for freedom, for the advancement
05:23of solidarity of ALBA-TCP, not only for another 20 years, but maybe for another 200 years,
05:34if it means that.
05:36Today, we yet again reaffirm our commitment to a better world, a better world for all
05:46of us, as again I emphasize, none of us must be left behind.
05:54In closing, Your Excellency, I remind you that you have been duly re-elected, re-elected
06:05for a purpose, and that purpose, of course, is to lead your people.
06:12So Your Excellency, continue to lead as the duly elected President of the Bolivarian Republic
06:22of Venezuela, and I'm sure your people will continue their full support of you, now and
06:31in the future.
