00:09a significant moment in our history, the bombardment of the Hartlepools. This occasion gives us
00:18space to reflect upon the resilience of our community and pay tribute to those who endured
00:25the suffering of that fateful day in 1914. It is our duty to ensure that these stories
00:33of those who have died, young and old, those who suffered great loss and those who endured
00:41ongoing hardship are not forgotten. The bombardment of the Hartlepools was a defining moment in our
00:50shared history, one that tested the mettle of our communities and revealed the indomitable
00:57spirit that binds us together.
