00:00We live in a time of extreme political division in the US, and if you're looking to buy a home,
00:04you might want to know which side of the aisle your neighbors are on. Well, good idea or bad idea,
00:09tech startup Oyase is hoping to bring a litany of new metrics about potential neighbors to home
00:13buyers. Those include age, education level, number of dogs, income, and yes, even their political
00:19leanings. The company says that it's not just about home condition that determines whether
00:23or not someone will buy it. Buyers also want to know about those that will be living around,
00:28and they want details apparently. The company is currently a subscription service for real
00:32estate agents and brokers. However, they can invite potential home buyers to use the service
00:36by invitation for free. The service also includes contract signings with agents,
00:40communications about properties, and important documents can be signed on the platform as well.
00:45However, for those in search of homes, the most appealing thing is no doubt the block by block
00:49search function, allowing you to look at the political data of a given street. Data extracted
00:54from election results, campaign contributions, and other metrics. The platform is currently
00:58being rolled out in South Florida and New York City.
