00:00We are here now, Kapuso, in San Juan and exactly where we are located, here in Binuksan, Green Hills, West Krame, Connector Road.
00:11You can see it behind me. This was opened yesterday for motorists and this road connects to a part of Green Hills and Barangay Green Hills
00:23and 3rd Street in Barangay West Krame outside Boni Serrano.
00:29According to the local government of San Juan, the opening of this Connector Road is expected to ease the journey of motorists and vehicles in the city this holiday season.
00:41According to the latest MMDA figures, the volume of vehicles is still reaching 464,000 and is expected to reach 484,000 before Christmas.
00:54According to MMDA Chairperson Romando Artes, the road will also serve as a living lane or alternative route towards EDSA.
01:04The MMDA also gave the parking zone, Green Hills-West Krame-Connector Road, and it is expected that the wheel clamping ordinance of San Juan City will be implemented
01:14to ensure that the traffic will move smoothly.
01:17The illegal vehicles will be clamped and towed along the length of the living lanes and city roads in the city of San Juan.
01:27As you can see, only a few motorists are passing through this part of Green Hills-West Krame-Connector Road.
01:35I don't know if they don't know about this yet because as we can see, they are still lacking in directional signs.
01:43We can see pedestrians, motorcyclists, cyclists, joggers passing through, but cars and other vehicles are still lacking.
01:57Later, we will talk to the MMDA and we will find out from the MMDA if this will help to reduce the number of vehicles passing through EDSA.
02:13As you can see, only a few motorists are passing through this part of Green Hills-West Krame-Connector Road.
