00:00Help for the families affected by the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon in Western Visayas has reached more than Php 18 million.

00:19The government agencies, local governments, and non-governmental organizations

00:25have reached out to the families in Western Visayas affected by the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon in Negros Island.

00:31In fact, Php 18 million of assistance has been distributed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 6,

00:39local governments, and NGOs, including the Family Food Packs and Non-Food Items.

00:45In addition, the DSWD has also issued 52 Family Food Packs,

00:51hygiene kits, and sleeping kits to their evacuation camps following the forced evacuation carried out by the Office of Civil Defense to Region 6.

00:59In addition, 2,000 bottles of 6.6 liters of bottled water were evacuated to La Carlota City by the OCDC.

01:08Since December 9, the OCDC has distributed 5,680 bottles of bottled water to the families affected in Negros Occidental.

01:18Meanwhile, in an interview with Radyo Pilipinas Ilo Ilo Kiglao, John Marquez,

01:23led by the Disaster Response Information Management Section of the DSWD 6,

01:28he said that additional Family Food Packs, hygiene kits, and sleeping kits were distributed to the regional office,

01:34the National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau,

01:37to ensure that there is enough supply for the affected families or those affected by the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon.
