A TikToker, who criticised His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for patronising a famous asam pedas eatery in Johor Bahru, has apologised.

The youth said he had made a mistake about the halal status of the restaurant and said he was sorry for the statement he made about the King and the Prime Minister.

00:54According to Lee Wen How, the restaurant's third-generation owner, His Majesty Sultan
00:58Ibrahim and his family are loyal customers who eat there once or twice a week.
