00:00I don't think there's any need for us to reconvene as a bicam because we've already ratified it in
00:07both chambers so in both the senate and in both the house so we're very satisfied with the versions
00:17tricky part when it comes to budget you know agencies always want to have more
00:23but unfortunately
00:29so the balancing act for congress and the senate becomes very tricky
00:41for the 2025 budget the government and the country can be rest assured that the programs
00:50the projects and the policies to further push the country forward will be implemented well
00:56because there are criticisms about the cuts to the department of education
01:00the bill and then of course
01:07what's your take
01:56now when it comes to the phil health phil health has more than enough money
02:15and i think jude is here and jude will be able to answer the phil health issue
02:21um with greater depth
02:30to assure the people that there will be no letting down of the services and the priorities even the
02:35expansion of phil health that was already also clarified by secretary tedder bosa who sits as
02:41chairman of the phil health board so
02:50is
02:57improvement and greater efficiency
03:07that would be very unfair to even to congress for people to conclude it that way this is only
03:12conditional incumbent upon phil health on their ability to really correct the inefficiencies
03:19in the organ in the agency and that even being the case phil health assured us that all the
03:26increase in case rates scheduled and slated for next year i think it was approved yesterday
03:33all the case rate additional 50 increase in case rate will will take effect next next month so
03:49administration to unfairly criticize a problem to my own judgment is of their making
03:58the whole six years
04:10in the first year
04:19percent in case increase in case rate
04:24the details of which will be discussed further this afternoon during the briefing
04:29so we see a disparity now your previous administration paid lift service to universal
04:34health care and now you have an administration who's really focused on delivering not only the
04:39services but greater efficiency in the payment and reimbursements of phil health so
04:45abaya and be very careful
04:55registered social workers
05:05punishing the new administration for the mistakes of the previous administration
05:09what's your take on this
05:20we still have a remaining budget so
05:28rather uh we we have to wait no no
05:34before we proceed on another budget
05:40can you can you do it by not vetoing and just asking you to we have to reconvene
05:51because until now we don't have the decision yet of the office of the president so
05:57foreign
06:09during the signing
06:23to sign the general appropriations bill is
06:26i was informed that it was uh it will be on the 20th but on target is before the christmas
06:56you
