00:00As we reach one of the busiest times of the year for the City of Sheffield, we may see
00:23Project Servitor officers out and about in the Christmas markets, at shopping centres
00:28and at key scheduled events. A key part of the Project Servitor deployments is about
00:33engagement with the public, and you may see our officers speaking to business owners and
00:37passers-by, encouraging them to be vigilant and report suspicious activity. You can play
00:43a key role in disrupting potential criminals by reporting suspicious activity to police
00:48officers or members of staff. Suspicious activity is anything that appears out of the ordinary,
00:53unusual or not in keeping with day-to-day life.
00:58Project Servitor is unlike any other policing operation, but this isn't anything to worry
01:08about. It's very much business as usual across our region. We are unpredictable in the way
01:13that we deploy, so we could turn up at any time or any location. The aim of the Project
01:19Servitor deployments are basically to disrupt hostile reconnaissance and make life as difficult
01:24as possible for those intending to commit a criminal act, including terrorism.
