00:00The tendency is to talk about One Health, but it would be good to talk about One Mental Health,
00:10because once our brain is healthy and therefore denotes a particularity of health,
00:19also the whole body, then we can be fine with ourselves.
00:23And this is important, we talk about it in the One Health parliamentary interview,
00:28where we say that not only the health of the body is important, but also the health of the mind.
00:33And it is therefore in the Health, Work and Social Affairs Commission
00:37that we have coordinated the proposals related to mental health,
00:40where we want to solve the criticisms related directly to mental health problems,
00:48in the face of the closure of the centers that were made with the Abazoli law,
00:54but from the other point of view, go directly to support those who are the daily mental health centers
01:02in all territories, in all regions.
01:04It is important to do so because there are unfortunately people who are left alone,
01:09they are not supported by the national health system,
01:12but above all the alarms are also launched by young people
01:17and we must go and capture the disorders of young people before they become mental disorders.
01:24Mental disorders that are and become more and more widespread even with the wrong lifestyles,
01:29such as the use of drugs, which in our country are becoming more and more used,
01:35especially synthetic drugs.
01:37So these alarms are also launched by young people
01:40and we as an institution must be directly on their side.
01:44Finally, it is important to have and listen to the association of patients,
01:48because they are the ones who denote to us what are the criticisms of the system
01:53that we must go to solve and with the dialogue with the institutions,
01:56pharmaceutical companies and all the stakeholders involved,
01:59therefore the scientific professionals,
02:01we can go to improve our health system even for those who have mental disorders.
