00:00A lot of you guys asked for a slower version of this Christmas tree card, so here we go!
00:04You just need an A4 sheet of paper, fold it in half on the long side,
00:07then mark 10cm left and right from the center crease.
00:10Now draw two score lines, from the marks to the center on the opposite side.
00:13Then fold over the paper along the first score line
00:16and draw a new one on the back of the folded part.
00:18This one should align with the center crease below.
00:20Fold over the paper along the new score line and repeat these steps on the other side.
00:24So fold over the paper along the first score line,
00:26add a new score line that aligns with the center crease
00:29and fold over the paper again back on itself.
00:31And now let's get our paper into a Christmas tree shape.
00:34Therefore draw a line connecting both outer corners
00:36and then cut along this line, removing the lower part of the paper.
00:39Now we have to make marks to divide our tree into four equal parts.
00:43These will help us to turn the outer edge of the paper
00:45into the characteristic pine tree zigzag.
00:47Next we're drawing slightly curved lines to connect each mark with the one below.
00:51And now you can already see the Christmas tree shape coming together.
00:54All you have to do now is cut along all the lines you've just made.
00:57I find it easiest to first cut along all the straight marks
01:00and then along all the curved lines.
01:02Now you can decorate your tree card just as you please.
01:04You can also add a white cone shape to the inside to make it easier to write on.
