00:00The House Quad Committee has formally recommended the filing of charges against former President
00:05Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Ronald de la Rosa, Senator Bong Go, among other personalities
00:10for alleged crimes against humanity in relation to the war on drugs.
00:15Earlier during the final session day of the year, Quadcom lead chair Robert Ace Barbers
00:21presented their progress report.
00:23Among its contents was the case filing recommendation.
00:27Representative Barbers' witness testimonies corroborated by evidence revealed a system
00:32that allegedly incentivized the killing of drug suspects, a system allegedly modeled
00:36after the so-called Davao template and replicated nationwide.
00:40Following the presentation of their initial committee report, the House as a whole has
00:45adopted it and likewise approved the motion to transmit the progress report to concerned
00:50agencies for the filing of appropriate charges.
00:52This report is not merely an account of our work, Mr. Speaker.
00:59It is a solemn commitment to uncovering the truth, upholding justice, and crafting meaningful
01:06legislative solutions to address the scourges of illegal drug proliferation, unlawful land
01:12acquisition by foreigners, crimes linked to Philippine offshore gaming operators or POGOs,
01:19and extrajudicial killings.
