00:00The historic sailboat and school ship of the Amerigo Vespucci military navy arrives for the first time at Oa,
00:10the thirtieth stage of the world tour of the ambassador ship of Made in Italy in the world.
00:15In the capital of Qatar also arrives the Villaggio Italia,
00:18world exhibition of the Italian excellence,
00:22wanted by the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto,
00:25to which 11 ministries join with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
00:29I think it is a beautiful peace ambassador,
00:32a message of hope for the peoples
00:35and to be able to do it in this framework together with Villaggio Italia,
00:38which collects the excellence of our country,
00:40the best of our design, of our culture,
00:43is a perfect binomial.
00:45Today Italy is called to be a security provider,
00:48not only in the enlarged Mediterranean, which is our priority area,
00:52but in the Indo-Pacific as well as in the Red Sea.
00:54And we are a country that not only unites the professionalism of our armed forces
00:58and our military, but also the empathy that it manages to create
01:01with the populations we come into contact with.
01:03The same great exercise that Nave Vespucci, as a country system,
01:07manages to do when it touches the ports of the five continents
01:10that he has navigated, that he has visited in these long two years
01:14of Vespucci's world tour.
01:16Present at the inauguration ceremony of Villaggio Italia also Paolo Toschi,
01:20Italian ambassador to Oa.
01:22Nave Vespucci brings to Oa the friendship between these two countries,
01:25Italy and Qatar, which are united by a thousand lines of work,
01:29from diplomacy to the defense industry, to energy,
01:33in the economic and commercial sphere, in the cultural and scientific sphere.
01:37Vespucci is a sign of all this because it is a ship that has brought here
01:41a journey around the world, therefore dialogue, peace.
01:45It has brought a sense of education,
01:47like a ship that has been training our sailors for a century.
01:51It has brought a sign of inclusiveness,
01:53because it is a ship that, as we know, brings everyone together
01:58and collaborates with the extraordinary project of Spirito di Stella,
02:02the catamaran dedicated to those with disabilities.
02:06And finally, it is a ship that is very dedicated to the environment,
02:10because it is a ship from which the health of the oceans is studied.
02:13So it brings the most important and most centered messages,
02:17I would say, of this phase of international reality.
02:20It brings them in the sign of a friendship between two countries that continues to grow
02:24and has been welcomed with extraordinary warmth.
