00:00I've been a flight attendant for a while. You guys love the part one
00:03So here's a part two of things that I would never do on the plane. First, do not play anything out loud
00:08Maybe your kids are watching a video on an iPad or taking a phone on speaker call
00:13Nope, this is a no-go and this isn't RSA so don't come after us. It's actually a government regulation
00:19You can actually get in lots of trouble and even fined for doing this. Next, don't sit in your seat the entire time
00:26This can actually be so dangerous because your blood needs circulation. As an online fitness coach
00:30I don't advise this but it's even worse for your health. On a flight, blood circulation is actually lower
00:35So staying seated for a long period of time actually gives you a high risk of blood clots
00:40I didn't believe this until a passenger on one of my last flights was pretty young and said they experienced it pretty badly
00:45It was a pretty extreme case, but they almost lost one of their legs. Number three, I get this one all the time
00:51Please don't come to us when someone reclines their seat because there is nothing we can do about this
00:55Just like you paid for your seat
00:57They also paid for their seat and part of that is being able to recline your seat
01:01I understand this goes into your space
01:03But it's also part of the ticket that you purchase that you have the right to recline your seat
01:07I get people asking every single flight if I can tell someone not to recline their seat
01:11But no can do. But at the same time if you are a passenger
01:14Please be respectful and mindful to the person behind you because I've also witnessed whole glasses of wine being spilt on people because someone reclined
01:21Their seat during a 10-hour flight. Next, don't press the call button unless it's an emergency
01:26If you want a coffee come to the back and we'll grab it for you
01:29Anything else you want come to the back and we'll grab it for you
01:32There have been so many cases where we're on takeoff or landing and someone presses the call button
01:36But this is a critical phase of flight meaning us as flight attendants should be seated as well
01:40And if you're pressing the call button so that I can take your garbage
01:42You're actually putting me in danger during a critical phase of the flight
01:45But if it's an emergency, of course, please press it. Last but not least another one
01:49I see all the time don't stand up if the seatbelt sign is on as soon as the plane touches the ground
01:55That's not your cue to stand up
01:57The plane has to reach a complete stop and the pilots are making sure it's safe before they turn the seatbelt sign off
02:03Just because we're on the ground. It doesn't mean we're not gonna have any sudden stops
02:07There could still be an emergency sharp turn
02:10I've even seen aircrafts crash into each other and if we're in the air and you're standing up with that seatbelt sign on even worse
