How was Cuban revolutionary "Frank Pais" killed ?

On June 30, 1957, his younger brother Josué Pais, also a revolutionary, was killed by the Santiago police. Throughout July, the police systematically search for him. On July 30, they were surrounded by the police in the house where they were hiding with Raúl Pujol. Revolutionaries caught trying to escape are taken to one of the outskirts of the city and executed. Upon hearing the news of his death, the funeral ceremony will take place as a show of strength of the July 26 Movement, and workers will declare a general strike in the city.
