00:00President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.'s activities have become productive in the past week.

00:06One of the most important activities of the President is to witness the signing of five infrastructure projects of the Department of Transportation.

00:21On the first day of the week, President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. attended a flag-raising ceremony in Malacanang.

00:27Here, he recognized the members of the Office of the President for their role in the success of the OP this year.

00:34A Thanksgiving event was also held by the President and First Lady Luisa Raneta Marcos

00:39along with various sectors that have been supporting the government's goals throughout the year.

00:44The President also expressed his gratitude to the Malacanang Press Corps for the Year-End Fellowship.

00:49He recognized them for their commitment to convey the right and timely information to the public.

00:55The President also visited the Parangal Gawad ng Kahusayan sa Komunikasyong Pampubliko

00:59at the head of the Presidential Communications Office.

01:02This activity is recognized by the individual and government agencies in their communication programs.

01:09On Tuesday, the President held the 23rd NEDA Board Meeting in Malacanang

01:13where he approved the main irrigation and bridge projects

01:17including the P37 billion Ilocos Norte-Ilocos-Sur-Abra Irrigation Project

01:23and the Accelerated Bridge Construction Project for Greater Economic Mobility and Calamity Response or ABC Project.

01:30After that, the President led the inauguration of the new Philippines One-Stop-Shop OFW Action Center

01:36where various services for OFWs can be found.

01:40According to the Chief Executive, this is a step by the government to facilitate the life of OFWs

01:46especially in the case of their documents.

01:49The President and the First Lady also presented the Christmas gift for the OFW family

01:54which brings joy and happiness to OFWs and their families.

01:58Here, the President also reiterated the steps of the government

02:01to ensure the safety and well-being of modern-day heroes.

02:06On Wednesday, the President signed the five infrastructure projects of the Department of Transportation

02:11which aim to strengthen tourism and improve the transport system especially in Visayas and Mindanao.

02:17Here, the President assured that the government will remain committed to the construction of projects

02:22that will bring prosperity to Filipinos.

02:25The Chief Executive also led a meeting with the government key officials

02:30to discuss the national budget for the next year to evaluate it

02:35and to ensure that the budget meets the primary priorities of the country's development.

02:41On Thursday, the President visited the Change of Command of the Philippine Air Force

02:44which is now led by Lt. Gen. Arthur Cordura

02:48followed by the retirement of the former Commander-General of the PAF, Lt. Gen. Stephen Pareño.

02:54Here, the President noted the achievements of the PAF under the leadership of Pareño

02:58and the institution that continues to carry out its mandate

03:03especially in ensuring the territorial integrity of the country.

03:07The President also received the Japanese National Security Advisor Akiba Takeo

03:11in a courtesy call in Malacanang.

03:13Here, the President emphasized the importance of strengthening strong ties

03:18between the Philippines and Japan in the field of defense and security

03:22especially in the middle of issues related to the West Philippine Sea.

03:25The Philippine Central Bank also presented to President Marcos Jr.

03:29the new design of money where animals and plants can be found in the Philippines

03:35which reflects the country's rich biodiversity.

03:38And because of the new security features of this money

03:41the President also gave more importance to the money that the Filipinos are struggling with.

03:47On Friday, the Executive Board held the 89th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

03:54The President praised the achievements of the AFP along with the dedication here

03:59to continue the integrity and prestige of the institution

04:02while also assuring that the government continues to support the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
