Santas take over Venice's canals

Santa Clauses trade their sleighs for gondolas on Dec. 22, 2024, bringing holiday cheer to Venice’s Grand Canal. Santas, dressed in their signature red outfits, took part in the annual Christmas regatta, a festive tradition featuring gondolas and 'mascarete,' typical Venetian boats adorned with holiday decorations.
