Transcript
00:00Okay Regan, so you're a firefighter based at Albury-Whitewatch. We're here now at
00:04Walsall Fire Station. Just explain what you're doing mate, what the big plan is.
00:08So over five days I'll be running to every fire station in the West Midlands.
00:12Goodness mate. 38 fire stations in total and it works out about 130 miles. Wow
00:17Criker. So what kind of time are you looking at? Are you going for a time or?
00:21Roughly I'm doing about 10 minute miles at the moment. Yeah brilliant. I'm not a runner
00:25by any means but I've always kept myself fit and I just thought it'd be a
00:28good challenge to raise money for a good cause. Fantastic and what is the cause?
00:31What are you raising the money for? I'm raising money for the Firefighters
00:34Charity. Yeah. They look after the health and well-being for everyone in the
00:37fire service community in the UK and they've got a crisis line for people who
00:41feel like they've got no one to turn to. Yeah. And they do support for families
00:44who are grieving, people who are recovering from illnesses trying to get back into
00:47work. Just a lot of different ways of supporting people, firefighters, retired
00:52firefighters. Yeah. And people within the fire service community. Superb and if
00:56people do want to donate how can they do that? There is a Just Giving page
01:00listed. Yeah. As station, the number two station. So station to station. It'll come
01:06up with me and they challenge what I'm doing. Yeah fantastic. Well good luck
01:12anyway mate. You're doing a cracking job. Thank you.
