00:00The security in the country remains tight this Christmas Eve.
00:05First, let's find out the situation in Manila's North Port Passenger Terminal
00:10at the center of the news, Bernard Ferrer.
00:15Annabelle is eager to see her children in Iloilo.
00:18Even though it's Christmas Eve, she chose to go home to her husband.
00:22According to Annabelle, they also worked in Saudi Arabia for almost 3 years.

00:44The situation in Manila's North Port Passenger Terminal is normal.
00:47The ship left early this morning to Cebu and Aguilaran.
00:51This afternoon, the ship will also leave for Iloilo, Bacolod, and Cagayan de Oro.
00:56According to the Philippine Coast Guard,
00:5884,418 outbound and 86,667 inbound passengers arrived at the ports in the country.
01:062,946 frontline personnel were assigned to 16 PCG districts
01:12to inspect more than 700 sea vehicles and almost 1,000 motorbikes.
01:17Districts, stations, and sub-stations of PCG were alerted
01:22until January 3, 2025 to monitor the number of passengers arriving at the ports.
01:27Next, the passengers are reminded to comply with the Terminal's regulations
01:32and to avoid carrying prohibited items.
01:34The ports included Batangas, Panay, Guimaras, Mindoro, Bohol, and Bicol.
01:404.5 million passengers are expected to arrive until January 5, 2025.
01:44Security is continuing at the ports where Coast Guard personnel and canines are deployed.
