00:00I was on full uniform patrol in Walsall Town Centre with my colleague when we found a lady in distress
00:04sat on a bench and she had a carry bag in her hand and she said she had taken a puppy
00:09that she couldn't care for and she had nowhere else to go. So yeah we picked her up and took her
00:15to the Civic and then that's when I got given the go-ahead by the RSPCA and carried out all
00:19the relevant checks. Just looking at her I just knew I had to take her home and I got to keep her.
00:25Bella's settled really well at home, she likes my bed as her bed.
00:29She eats loads, she loves it playing around. I've got an older dog which she plays with and winds
00:35up and they'd snuggle her. We've come back to Walsall today to see all the lovely officers
00:40that helped us and raised funds for Bella's first appointments. We've come to show everyone how well
00:45she's doing and how much she's grown and just how well she's doing really to give everyone peace of
00:50mind at how well she's doing and settled in. Thanks to all the officers that did the collection
00:55that really helped with the first vet bills and all the checks. We've got all her vaccinations
00:59for today and one for chicks. We've started training with agility-based groundwork towards
01:04it to hopefully raise her as old as she can compete. We attended her first fun dog show
01:08yesterday where she won two rosettes. Bella has got lots coming off Santa for Christmas as always,
01:14lots of treats, lots of toys but whether she'll be on the good or bad list yet is yet to be seen.
01:19Bella says her top tip over Christmas is to be kind and enjoy the Christmas season.
