00:00In spite of the rainy season, some families re-opened the free entrance to the Quezon Memorial Circle for the celebration of Christmas.

00:08Isaiah Miracuentes is live in the center of the news.

00:13Merry Christmas! As you know, the Filipino Christmas is still going on, even though the rain is pouring.

00:22The Batilaran family is already doing the morning worship every time Christmas comes.

00:27This is the first thing that their family should do.

00:31We woke up early, and you know the spirit of Christmas, it is a remembrance to our Lord God, to His birth.

00:43And because of the rain, they decided to go to their relatives for a family reunion.

00:49Because family is the most important gift this Christmas.

00:55Christmas has come to our country, but we can still prove that there is no defeat in the Filipino Christmas.

01:04Here in the Quezon City Memorial Circle, people come to worship.

01:08In the past, this was one of the most crowded parks every Christmas.

01:12Now, because of the rain, it seems that this place has become quiet.

01:17But some still chose to worship here because there is no entrance fee here.

01:23Just like the Kapilitan family, this has become their perfect spot this Christmas.

01:28Sometimes, we are together, we are just bonding.

01:31Because in the past, our house was separated, in Bulacan, Quezon City.

01:36This is the first time that we are celebrating Christmas here.

01:40To save money, they also cooked their own dishes in their house.

01:46But if the Filipinos will ask, their wish is the same this Christmas.

01:50Just good health, we are together.

01:53And no matter what hardship comes, we will be able to overcome it together.

01:58What we need to give during Christmas, of course, is our love, and at the same time, kindness.

02:06Even if we don't have a lot of preparations, even if we can't reach the destination we want,

02:10we should always remember the true miracle of Christmas,

02:14that Jesus is still the center of the joyous occasion.
