00:00In essence, the celebration of the birth of humankind's savior, which the country, which

00:05the entire country, awaits in a three-month day-to-day countdown, behooves the faithful

00:09to predicate gratitude, kindness, and joy, with acts of love, care, and compassion for

00:14the neighbor and those in need especially.

00:17Likewise, the president, in his moving message to the country, says we, the people, should

00:22celebrate Christmas as a thanksgiving event that includes all sectors and citizens outside

00:27the faith.

00:42The president said this occasion is essential to Christians as a celebration of the birth

00:47of Christ the Savior, but it is also time to fill the presence of God through gratitude,

00:51kindness, and happiness for all.

00:53The president emphasized that Christmas celebration is not only for Christians because it has

00:57become a symbol of thanksgiving even for those of different beliefs.

01:01The president reminds us all that Christmas is a major reason for families to come together.

01:05Therefore, Christmas should be celebrated through introspection and reflection of its

01:10meaning and purpose.

01:12The president wishes the joy and spirit of Christmas bring love and peace to every home

01:16and foster a deeper relationship with God and one another.

01:19In the Christmas video greeting from the first family this holiday season, the president

01:23said that despite the challenges faced this year, Christmas will push through and be

01:27celebrated by all Filipinos.

01:43It does not have to be grand.

01:45What matters is spending time with family and sharing a meal.
