00:00The Philippine men's national football team will be facing Thailand tonight at the Rizal Memorial Stadium for the first leg of the semi-finals in the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024.

00:12A victory in this game will boost the country's hopes for qualifying for the championship game, which has never happened in Philippine football history.

00:25For the first time in six years, the Philippine men's national football team is back in the semi-finals of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup.

00:35Our national squad is playing at the Rizal Memorial Stadium tonight for the first leg of the semis against the reigning and seven-time ASEAN champions, Thailand.

00:46Despite a challenging match-up, head coach Albert Capillas is confident in our chances to upset the formidable Thais.

00:55We have prepared the game as every game. We have this rule that the most important game is the next game.

01:01And we will not change that. We always attack the games, we always prepare the games, believing that we can win.

01:09And we know that Thailand is a very strong opponent, but we will attack with the same mentality, what we always do.
