00:00So, you live in New York City, and you want to find something new and interesting to do for the holiday season?
00:04Well, come out to Citi Field, because this is the Tiananou Lights Festival.
00:08They have a giant light-up geodesic dome with a frickin' dragon inside!
00:12Let's go check it out.
00:13Check out the, like, crazy articulated mouth, the crazy articulated tail.
00:17I love this one.
00:18So this is a lot of fun stuff to look at.
00:21But if you need a narrative, there's this little kid named Kona, who's gonna take a trip to the rainforest.
00:25He's having trouble falling asleep, so he starts to remember things and think about things,
00:30and then he can't then distinguish between what's his actual memory and what's his imagination.
00:35So you get to go around, find clues, and get a prize at the end.
00:39Now, if you're arachnophobic, I don't want to freak you out, but they do have a gigantic tarantula to play with.
00:44So, what's it like working here at the Tiananou Lights Festival?
00:48And if you're arachnophobic, I don't mean to freak you out, but there's a gigantic spider above your head.
00:54Oh yeah, and you can totally go under it.
00:56Here we are, under the belly of the beast.
00:58Also, if you're arachnophobic, I don't mean to freak you out, but...
01:02There's yet another spider.
01:04Not really, this one has, like, three eyes and only four legs, so, technically.
01:08This, of course, is like an Instagram moment.
01:10Not know about you, but I'm definitely getting Emerald City vibes.
01:13So, let's go see what it's like.
01:16Split screen!
01:17Alright, here we go in.
01:19Yeah, it's trippy.
01:21Kind of like you're inside of a kaleidoscope.
01:25And check out this dragon in the middle of the bamboo forest.
01:29He's huge!
01:30Obviously, this is extremely family-friendly.
01:32And, you know, it's a fun, cool, kind of different thing to do during the holiday season.
01:36I know you can't really tell what this is, but there's this room with, like, all these, like, light bulbs hanging from the ceiling.
01:41And you can navigate your way through them.
01:43And the ceiling and the floor are mirrored.
01:45Check it out, here's my feet, and there's the ceiling.
01:49The food smells great, but also, check it out.
01:52They sell boozy bears, alcoholic gummy bears.
01:55So, you know, fun for the whole family.
01:56Truthfully, the scale of this stuff is huge.
01:59Check out this articulated deer.
02:01This stuff is crazy.
02:03They have a type of bumper car, a light-up dance floor.
02:09There's this huge owl pavilion.
02:12And check it out, with this freaky elephant here.
02:14It's, like, fully articulated lizard kind of creature.
02:19It's here through January 19.
02:20So, if you're looking for a family-friendly holiday thing to do, well, you know exactly where to come.
