In this Vid you can see how one can play

a Style of Guitar-Playing that I have created based on
the essence of Flamenco and Raaga.
A truely innovative Fusion of two worlds.

The style is a combination of Guitar,
Tabla and Congas all played on one acoustic guitar

A JOURNEY ON THE ROUTES TO THE ROOTS :
Part of the Flamenco roots can be traced to India.
I was fortunate to learn about the depth of influence of
Indian music on Flamenco in a Seminar on Flamenco
at the SINTI & ROMA CENTER in HEIDELBERG
a few years back.

As I was always playing the guitar with percussion
( played simultaneously on the same guitar in one go ),
I could further develop my style of playing the guitar.

My style of playing is inspired by Flamenco,
Indian Raaga / Indian Folk Music.
For me, it has been and is always be like a JOURNEY on the
MUSICAL-ROUTES to the MUSICAL-ROOTS.

In this, Vid, I have played my own music JOURNEY ONE
( composed specially for this style of playing ).

I have played on OVATION CELEBRITY Acoustic Guitar
which is about 20 years old ! My guitar has taken, so to say,
a lot of beatings as I play the strings and percussion simultaneously
on this OVATION most of the times ! Inspite of this,
The OVATION is still in perfect shape !

For making this HOW-TO-PLAY-VID, the guitar playing
( with percussion ) on OVATION has been FILMED separately and
over-imposed on the AUDIO-TRACK. So, you might see some
sequences that are not synchronized well.
