00:10The Batman Part 2, the follow-up to Reeves' acclaimed 2022 DC superhero noir, which starred
00:16Pattinson as the significant superhero opposite Zoe Kravitz, was originally slated to release
00:22in theatres on October 3, 2025.
00:27First, the release ended up getting pushed back by a full year to October 2, 2026, due
00:33to the 2023 Hollywood writers and actors' strikes.
00:37However, now in a new update, Warner Bros have announced that the Batman sequel won't
00:42be out in theatres until October 1, 2027.
00:46While fans did not receive any reason behind the decision, but the makers have informed
00:53that this delay has opened doors for a new, untitled Alejandro G. Iñárritu and Tom Cruise
00:59film as it gets the chance to take the vacated October 2, 2026 theatre slot instead.
01:07The Batman Part 2 will welcome the return of Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, Zoe Kravitz as
01:13Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
