00:00Okay Gary, so you're the organiser of the event today for Hallie Mae, just explain what's
00:05going on, what it's all about.
00:07So it started as kind of a football charity match which we've done up here in the past
00:10for charities and for the football club itself.
00:14So I approached the family a couple of weeks ago now, obviously once I read the story about
00:18Hallie Mae, and I approached them about playing a charity football match, a bit of a fundraising
00:23event, and it's kind of expanded from that, so we've got stalls, we've got food, we've
00:27got drinks, we've got a Brave the Shave and then we've got a raffle and an auction as
00:32well.
00:33And the match is kicking off at 11 isn't it?
00:34The match is kicking off at 11, so obviously it would be nice to see as many people here
00:37as possible.
00:38Absolutely.
00:39So what's the plan for today?
00:40Is it to kind of raise money?
00:41Yeah, to raise as much money as possible really.
00:45So far we've had massive amounts of raffle prizes donated, so obviously people will pay
00:51for their raffle tickets, that's the way I make money, the footballers will all be paying
00:55to play, which is quite unusual, and then obviously we've got the food and the drink
01:00as well which we'll be selling, so it's all in aid of obviously raising as much money
01:03as possible.
01:04Fantastic.
01:05OK Hallie, so you're Hallie Mae's auntie.
01:08Yes.
01:09Just explain how you feel about today and what it means to the family really.
01:13I don't really have many words other than that we're feeling very grateful, extremely,
01:17extremely humbled by everybody's generosity and kindness, and I mean there's so many people
01:23here to support us today.
01:25Absolutely, there's a lot of support.
01:27It's been incredible.
01:29And also very overwhelmed and sad that we're even in this position to be perfectly honest.
01:33It's great how people come together isn't it?
01:36Everybody's been phenomenal, I mean my family have come from Basin Hill and lived in Basin
01:40Hill their whole life, so it's such a lovely community anyway and it's just shown us even
01:47more how fantastic Basin Hill is in a whole.
01:50Absolutely.
01:51So if you want to donate, what's the best thing for them to do?
01:57We have got QR codes here currently, or you can head to my Facebook page, it's Hallie
02:02Louise Hormstone, and the GoFundMe link is in my bio, so you can donate that way.
