Malayalam Actor Dileep Sankar Found Dead In Hotel Room; Initial Probe Rules Out Suicide

Dileep Sankar, a Malayalam actor, was found dead in a hotel room near Vanross Junction in Thiruvananthapuram on December 29. The actor, who had been in the city for the TV series 'Panchagni', had not stepped out of his room for two days. When staff noticed a foul smell, they entered the room and found him dead. Police have dismissed suicide as a cause of death, stating there was no evidence of self-harm. Watch video.
