Marvel Determines Which Infinity Stone Is the Most Powerful
Which Infinity Stone is the most powerful? You may not care and have never even asked yourself, however, Marvel Comics made sure to determine it, just to prove Thanos wrong. Yes, the Mad Titan went even crazier when he learned that the magical trinkets he has been searching for for over 30 years are not exactly what he always thought they were.
In fact, perhaps Thanos was right about his long-standing research, however, things have changed recently, as Marvel has decided to change the rules of the game regarding the Infinity Stones. This is part of the new dynamic regarding the gems, which are now under the care of a group of vagabond characters called the Infinity Watch.
In Infinity Watch #1, recently released, one of the forgettable characters in the group, Avery Zavala, is the bearer of the Mind Stone from an alternate universe. In fact, he reveals that he comes from one of the few alternate timelines in the Marvel Multiverse that also have Infinity Stones.
In a crazy cosmic plot, Zavala ends up facing Colleen Wing (yes, the one from Iron Fist, who is now also part of the Infinity Watch) and murders the girl, who was carrying the Mind Stone. Upon obtaining the artifact, he threatens to replace the main Marvel universe with his own reality.
It is worth noting that the plot is still ongoing, and the changes that Marvel has been making to the rules of the Infinity Stones may still be changed again. However, to date, none of the other gems alone have offered the possibility of their bearer replacing an entire reality, as Zavala threatened.
The characters are terrible, but the plot is interesting. We will continue to follow to see if the Mind Stone remains the most powerful of the Infinity Gems until the end of the incredible plot.
