No matter how serious some actors approach their material, there are still guaranteed to be some bloopers during production. If something goes wrong on a movie set, it's best to just laugh about it and enjoy the moment, because it's most likely going to be included on the blooper reel in the special features anyway, or perhaps even during the film's closing credits. Some movie bloopers are so hilarious that they have become iconic in their own right, so let's take a look at a few of the funniest movie bloopers in history that were just too good to cut.

00:00Hey, accidents happen.
00:02But if you're in a movie, sometimes accidents can turn out to be amazing.
00:07In fact, some of the most memorable moments in cinema were actually the result of mistakes
00:12that the filmmakers decided were too good to leave out of the finished movie.
00:16Here's a look at some movie bloopers that were too good to cut.
00:20Guardians of the Galaxy
00:22Alfred Hitchcock coined the term McGuffin to describe important objects upon which the
00:27plot of a movie revolves, like the briefcase in Pulp Fiction or the Infinity Stones in
00:33the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
00:35As any comic fan will tell you, the Infinity Stones are incredibly important and powerful,
00:40which is why it's so funny when Chris Pratt, as Star-Lord, just straight-up drops one.
00:45"...let us see what you brought."
00:54It looks totally scripted, but according to the DVD commentary, that was an actual
00:58moment of clumsiness from Pratt.
01:01But the moment works, so director James Gunn left it in.
01:05The Lord of the Rings 2 Towers
01:07As war looms and the loss of Rohan seems imminent, Eowyn stares off into the distance as the
01:13camera reveals a wide, scenic shot.
01:16As she does, a flagpole whips in the wind, and then, perfectly expressing the mood of
01:21uncertainty and destruction to come, the flag rips off the pole and flies away.
01:26The metaphor was not only beautifully apt, but it was also totally accidental.
01:32Director Peter Jackson didn't plan for this.
01:34It was just really windy on that day of shooting.
01:37The Princess Diaries
01:39This movie made Anne Hathaway a star, and the DVD has become a slumber party classic
01:45for little kids.
01:46It's a classic, ugly duckling story of a girl named Mia who finds out she's the heir apparent
01:52to a small European kingdom.
01:54But she's so very awkward, you see, falling down all the time, as she learns how to carry
02:00herself with the grace and poise befitting a royal.
02:03At one point, Mia is dancing on some bleachers in the rain at a private school with her best
02:07friend when she takes a pretty nasty tumble.
02:11"...just right, number three, whoo!"
02:15That's no stuntwoman.
02:18And that wasn't supposed to happen.
02:20Hathaway really did slip, falling hard, but it fit in so well with the character's awkwardness
02:25that it was kept in the finished film.
02:28Casino Royale
02:30The idea was simple.
02:31One girl rides a horse along the beach, and Daniel Craig swims up to her.
02:35But as he floated up, the actor ran into a sandbank, giving him no choice but to quickly
02:40stand up on his feet and stomp out of the water.
02:43Suddenly, Bond is standing there, muscled-up body on display, along with some very revealing
02:49swim trunks.
02:50Casino Royale was a reboot of the Bond series, so most fans assumed this was an homage to
02:56the classic scene from the first Bond film, Dr. No, where Ursula Andress emerges from
03:02the ocean.
03:03But it was actually just a lucky accident.
03:06Raiders of the Lost Ark
03:08Indiana Jones wasn't the only raider of the Lost Ark in, uh, Raiders of the Lost Ark.
03:13There was also evil French archaeologist René Belloc, who suffers a doubly horrible fate.
03:19Not only does his head explode, but he also eats a fly.
03:27Well, okay, not exactly.
03:29During a close-up of actor Paul Freeman, a fly appears to crawl right down Belloc's throat.
03:35Freeman later revealed that the insect actually flew away after crawling around his lip for
03:40a moment, but some judicious editing after the fact made it look like the cold-blooded
03:45Belloc just ate the fly instead.
03:49The Usual Suspects
03:50The police lineup seen early in the movie is crucial to the plot of The Usual Suspects.
03:55It's where all the criminal main characters meet to arrange a big heist.
03:59As each character steps forward to read the line police told them to read, none of them
04:03can contain their laughter, perfectly setting up the dynamic between the characters as well
04:09as their collective disregard for the cops.
04:16But the laughing wasn't in the script, and it wasn't a directorial note.
04:20No, the cast of The Usual Suspects couldn't stop laughing because actor Benicio Del Toro
04:26couldn't stop farting.
04:28Co-star Kevin Pollak says he farted on, like, 12 takes in a row.
04:33Actor Bryan Singer got so mad with the cast's inability to focus that he yelled at them,
04:39which probably only made them laugh harder.
04:42Rain Man
04:44Speaking of farts, Rain Man is that rare film that won the Oscar for Best Picture and also
04:49included one of the most memorable fart scenes in movie history.
04:54Brothers Raymond and Charlie are in a phone booth together, and Raymond passes gas.
04:59Uh-oh, fart.
05:00Yeah, Charlie Babbitt, I'll hold.
05:02Uh-oh, fart.
05:03Did you fart, Raymond?
05:04Fart.
05:05How can you stand that?
05:06I don't mind it.
05:08That was real.
05:09And accidental.
05:11Stars Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise both managed to stay completely in character, setting up
05:16a classic moment in cinematic fart history.
