00:00PKR Sabah seems to be weakening its new leader, Mustafa Sakhmud, when he nominated Kristina Liu as the new head of the Sabah Hope Alliance, according to a political analysis.

00:14Bilce Bala from the Sabah University of Malaysia said that the nomination of Liu and not Mustafa was able to weaken the internal leadership and alienate Mustafa's supporters.

00:25Bilce said that the tendency to choose Liu to give the image of PKR Sabah does not respect the change in its own leadership and will cause internal conflict while eroding confidence in the PAH's influence when the PRN is getting closer.

00:45Liu lost to President Abko Iwan Benedict for the position that has been held since 2017.

00:53Isomodin Bakar from Ilham Center said that Liu's defeat to Iwan showed confidence in the PAH's friends against him, in addition to the rejection of his leadership.

01:06According to him, Iwan's election showed that Abko and DAP are not on Liu's side, while trust and PKR seem to be split.

01:15According to him, Liu failed to strengthen and unite the PAH Sabah, especially during the 2020 PRN.
