00:00And that brings me on to my next question actually, what is Andrew Postakoglou's future
00:06with Tottenham? Because I know Twitter is an echo chamber, it's an interesting place
00:11and certainly with other clubs you get people criticising a lot on there but then perhaps
00:15you can be in the stadium and be completely different. So from your point of view James,
00:20what is his future? Does he need to adapt or lose his job or is he as secure as perhaps
00:26other managers are in the Premier League? Well I think if we sort of take a step back
00:31and we look at where we are in terms of the season, we're top, albeit top of the bottom
00:35half just, so we're not a million miles off in terms of the league. We're light years
00:44away obviously at the moment from being in the top two or three but actually we get a
00:48few players back, we put a run together, we get support from the board in the transfer
00:53window which is another matter and we get players in quickly, things could turn. I don't
00:58know if you remember at the start of the season I did always say things would be a slow burn
01:02this year, I did think we'd be better in the second half of the season. We're in the
01:07semi-final of the Carabao Cup of course, albeit a very, very tough game against Liverpool
01:11to come and that's going to be a really tough game and a tough ask with the squad depth
01:16that we have at the moment and we're in a decent position in Europe so I think that's
01:20probably the sort of saving graces at the moment and I think the other thing is the
01:26lack of available alternatives. Spurs fans signed up for a painful rebuild, now it's
01:32extremely painful at the moment and the question is have we as a fan base got the nerve to
01:36see this through? Has the board and Daniel Levy got the nerve to see it through? I'm
01:42not sure. I think if we keep dropping points to the likes of Wolves, Ipswich, Crystal Palace,
01:46Curtis, with respect to those teams, it won't keep him in a job for very much longer. But
01:51whether we need to just see it through to the summer and see where we're at, I think
01:56he deserves the time. As I say, we've changed the squad dramatically, we're still in that
02:01sort of facelift period, we need to let new players bed in, the youngsters come good but
02:07we do need big support in January and I think that will be pretty telling. But I think the
02:12other thing that's pretty telling as well is that the players seem to be behind the
02:15manager, which is always a good sign, and the fans seem to be behind him largely. I
02:21think there is, of course, like you say, on X and social media, there is a proportion
02:25who want him out. But I think inside the stadium, I was at one of the games recently at Ipswich
02:30and the sense of feeling was still, we were still with Anjan, the recent defeat against
02:35Liverpool, the crowd was singing his name. There was a few boos against Wolves, I think
02:39that was for the club in general. So it will be interesting, I think the big question is
02:45will Daniel Levy hold his nerve? I hope he does and I hope he backs Anjan in the transfer
02:50window because at the end of the day, we recycle another manager and we just go back to square
02:56one, which is no good for anyone.
