00:00Out of the mists of time Out of the eternal sands
00:06Out of the living rock Out of the soul and sinew of thousands
00:11upon thousands of men It rises from the desert's floor
00:16As the mightiest monument ever erected to the glory of one man
00:20To inspire all men for all time
00:50Egypte, fifty centuries ago, when her culture and civilization flourished in a setting of unequalled pomp and grandeur
00:59When her proud legions had conquered all the world and plundered its treasure
01:03To feed the insatiable ambition of the greatest of all pharaohs, Khufu the Magnificent
01:09A man of superhuman strength and courage, yet consumed by a fear so strange
01:16That he tried to conceal it beneath a massive man-made mountain of stone
01:21On the sands of the desert, we will raise a pyramid
01:25A structure greater than any other in the world
01:28This pyramid shall be my resting place for the second life
01:32From every corner of the land came teeming multitudes of workers
01:37And then slaves and generations of slaves to wrest the rock from the unyielding earth
01:43While armies of wretched humanity suffered and died
01:46To haul their colossal burden across the desert to the river Nile
01:50For the final journey to the mighty ramps that flanked the pyramid
01:54But while three million stones were being welded together by time and toil
01:59In the golden halls of the palace, another ageless story was being lived
02:04By people whose lust and greed, love and hate
02:08Are forever embedded in every rock of the great pyramid
02:12Bashtar, the captive who held the key to the mystery of the ages
02:17Senta, who traded a pharaoh's ransom for the love of a slave girl
02:21Nelifar, the faithless hostage whose beauty masked her sinful treachery
02:27Hamar, who plotted time's strangest vengeance
02:31And Khufu, the man who thought that he could conquer eternity
02:42Ne fais pas ça plus jamais
02:49Que veux-tu me dire ?
02:51La reine de Nile doit mourir
02:53Non, non, Nelifar
02:55Regarde-moi, Trenor
02:56J'en ai peur, j'ai peur de ce que je vois dans ton visage
02:59Regarde-moi et choisis
03:01Je suis toi, et tu m'aides
03:05Ou je continue sans toi
03:08Quel est le choix ?
03:13Pourquoi viens-tu me voir quand le pharaon est parti ?
03:16Réponds-moi !
03:17Oh mon Dieu, tu devras répondre au pharaon quand il reviendra
03:20Il va répondre à moi maintenant
03:22Je sais
03:23Traiteur, pauvre
03:26Sir
03:27Affraid to strike with your own hand
03:30Let me speak, sir
03:32Now you shall die by mine
03:42Oh Nile, we are all
03:47As one in Nile
03:51Oh Nile, we are all
03:56As one in Nile
04:00You, you are our way
04:05You, you are our way
04:07You, you are our way
04:10You, you are our way
